I know I complained about the rain. But the truth is, I would walk the sixteen blocks drenched and smiling if you were holding my hand the whole time.

The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.
Every choice, each action, spoken word, and wrong turn, provides an experience that can be learned from.
The ability to self-reflect and grow however, rests on you.
It rests on an open mind and an open heart.
There is no shame in making mistakes and taking wrong turns.
It is the adversity that shapes and molds who we are.
It is the bad experiences that teach us what to avoid in the future, and realize what we have taken forgranted.
Making mistakes is a blessing in disguise.
Do not let them disempower or dishearten you.
Rise above them.
Become empowered.
Discover yourself.
Grow.
Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors.
